. DPS HISAR OBSERVES INVESTITURE CEREMONY Leadership is a quality that is nurtured and has its seeds sown in childhood. With regard to the above quote the investiture ceremony for the session 2022-23 took place on 03 August 2022 with ardour to inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body. The school council members and the house cabinet members marched sprightly and majestically in sync with the beating of the drums to receive their badges .The captains and the prefects administered the oath with a promise that they would carry out their duties with integrity, faith and excellence. The pageantry involved designated students who were conferred with the badges and sashes by principal, Ms. Manju Sudhakar. Moreover, an Inter House Dance Competition also filled the void. The competition was themed on Veergatha and Social Issues. Ms. Manju Sudhakar, the principal congratulated all the winners of dance contest as well as to all the members of School Concil and House Cabinet. She emphasised on the need to be humble while holding responsibilities entrusted to them. She further added that it was a day imbued with a sense of pride, humility and leadership and a solemn occasion for the institution.

Navya, the budding young orator of class 10 bagged Ist position in an Inter School Debate Competition hosted by OPJMS Hisar. Hubs of Learning A collaborative program called 'Hubs of Learning' by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was
organized at Delhi Public School, Hisar on the occasion of National Technology Day.
The program aims to create a network of schools that can share resources and expertise to enhance the
learning experience of students. Under this program, schools will be designated as 'Hubs of Learning' that will
act as centers of excellence and provide mentorship and guidance to other schools in the network.
As part of the event, a workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was conducted by Dr. Swati Narang, an expert in
the field of AI. The workshop provided an overview of AI and its practical applications in various industries. The
participants learned about the basics of AI and how it can be used to solve complex problems.
Students from various schools showcased their technological projects at the exhibition held during the event.
The projects covered a range of topics, from robotics and automation to renewable energy and sustainability.
The students demonstrated their projects and explained the science behind them to the visitors.
Some fun games were also organised that aimed to promote teamwork and collaboration among the
participants. The games included a robotics challenge and a coding competition, which encouraged the students
to work together to solve problems and achieve their goals.
Finally, the event concluded with an interschool quiz was also held during the event, which tested the
participants' knowledge of science and technology. The quiz covered various aspects of computer science and
technology . The participants displayed their enthusiasm and competitiveness as they answered the questions.
All the teams participated enthusiastically and we are proud of claim that Delhi Public School managed to grab
the first position, however, being the host school the trophies were given to the next winning team - 'The Shri
Ram Universal School'. Principal Ms Manju Sudhakar appreciated their efforts of all the participants and looked
forward to many more such occasions where we all can together make the nation proud.

Class Assembly Water is a precious resource that we often take for granted, but the reality is that water scarcity is a growing
concern worldwide. The growing population and increased water usage have put a strain on the world's water
resources, leading to water scarcity in many areas. By saving water, we are ensuring that there is enough water
to go around for everyone and that we are not wasting this precious resource.
With this motto the students of class III A presented today’s morning assembly by chanting OM and the morning
prayer, taking a pledge, reciting poem, presenting new word and thought of the day. Principal Mrs, Manju
Sudhakar blessed the students and asked the students to contribute to water conservation. By taking small
steps in our daily life we can all contribute to conserving water. It is essential that we work together to ensure
that we use this precious resource sustainably and that we have enough water for everyone in the future.

World Red Cross Day 8th May, observed as World Red Cross Day, commemorates the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, the founder
of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Henry Dunant's vision of a global organization
committed to humanitarian principles has saved millions of lives, and the Red Cross continues to uphold these
values today with its primary objective to provide humanitarian aid and support to those in need, regardless of
race, gender, religion, or political affiliation.
The theme of 2023 World Red Cross Day is "Everything we do comes from heart”.
With this motto the students of class VIII-A presented today’s morning assembly by chanting Om and morning
prayer, taking a pledge, reciting the poem and showcasing dance.

responsible citizen and motivated the students to do every bit of the work from heart as it gives happiness and

To make students realise the importance of Yoga and its importance an enlightening assembly was presented by
the students of class V A on the topic "Yoga and its importance".
Vincy and Harnoor took the charge of the event and compered the assembly sanguinely. Khwahish presented a
heartening quote explaining the topic. Since it’s our moral responsibility to know about the world, Ashish
,Shriyansh and Devansh enlightened their fellow mates by telling the informative news about what’s going on
around the world. To enhance the vocabulary, Manav presented the New Word. To know more about the topic,
different pose of yoga with their befits was explained and presented by some of Students and made the
assembly interactive .Ms.Suman Anand also motivated the students to make yoga a part of their life style

Foundation Day Celebration DPS, Hisar observes 20th Foundation Day
Keeping the spirit of initiative alive, DPS, Hisar celebrated its 20th Foundation Day on 24th April taking another
step forward that is worthy of eulogy.
On this occasion, the school got an opportunity to deliberate on some of the tough times it has faced and
celebrate its history and the incredible ways it has adopted so far. The day commenced with a special assembly
that provided a short glimpse of the journey of the school through all these years. The energy and passion of the
students was visible in the performances that they put up. The staff members cherished the moments and
promised to collaborate their efforts for the glorification of school.
The principal, Ms. Manju Sudhakar in her addressing reiterated the motto of the school -‘Service Before Self’,
which is the driving force of all our actions and endeavours. She shared the ideologies and values the school
upholds, which will continue to lead it to its success in future.

Earth Day Celebration ‘Join The Race to make the World a Better Place’
With this message a special assembly was conducted by the students of Class X C on the occasion of Earth
Day where in the students shared their views about the importance of saving Earth by keeping our grass green,
by planting more trees and keeping our skies blue. They took an oath on Earth Day to protect the Mother Earth
and ensure the implementation of the rule of 3 R’s, that is re-use, re-cycle and reduce to save the natural
resources that our earth has gifted us.
The students gave an informative message on the conservation of our dear Mother Earth.They also showed
their gratitude by giving a sapling to the Principal which was later sown by her in the school premises. Plethora
of activities were conducted at different grades. Prep and Grade I participated in the colouring activity with a
theme of – ‘Save Earth Save Humanity’. Students of grade II were engaged in Earth Day craft using colour and
paper plates. The tiny tots of grade III took a pledge on Earth Day and made craft activity using recyclable
materials like paper plates, yarns, clothes, newspaper etc.
It was moving and insightful to witness such strong messages on ‘Save Earth’ being presented by our Dipsites of
Classes IV – VII through Poster Making & Slogan Writing.The students of Grade VIII also took it as their social
responsibility to conduct a plantation drive in the city. The students of Grade IX - X motivated and raised the
spirits of all through their Poetry Recitation. The senior students of classes XI - XII spread the message 'Share &
Care' to save the environment and how all of us can make a difference by making small adjustments in our daily
rituals & habits.
The Principal, Mrs. Manju Sudhakar addressed the students, emphasizing upon the importance of our Earth,
being grateful to it and the importance to protect it and taking care of it in the best possible manner by each one
of us.

WORLD HERITAGE DAY WORLD HERITAGE DAY Celebration at Delhi Public School, Hisar
World Heritage Day was celebrated in DPS on 18th April, 2023. The aim of celebrating the day was to blowout
alertness about the importance of the cultural heritage and its preservation. To mark the importance of the day,
the special assembly was conducted on this occasion by the students of class X. Countless programmes related
to the historical structures of India includes speech, poem, quiz etc were organized by them, moreover they
elucidated the actual meaning and importance of rich cultural heritage and advised the students to preserve and
conserve our custom. Additionally, our children were well familiarized with the rich cultural heritage and also
refined with the existing diversification worldwide.

Without good focus , all aspects of your ability to think will suffer...... The topic for the morning assembly
conducted by class 5D was "Importance of focus in life" the message was conveyed by the students through
their speech, inspiring poem, thought of the day along with routine morning prayers,pledge general knowledge
question round and news updates. The same topic was very well explained by Ms. Seema Chabbra in her
speech for the day. Overall the assembly was successfully conducted and worth appreciating.

Table Tennis Championship The 4th Open Table Tennis Championship, organized by Aspire Ping Pong Academy, was held on 8th and 9th
April in Hisar. The event was a huge success, attracting a large number of table tennis enthusiasts from all

Adventure Camp Delhi Public School Hisar has organized an exciting adventure camp for its students. The camp aimed to provide
